Privacy Policy
Last updated: 7 October 2026
This policy explains what personal data we collect through this website, why we collect it, how long we keep it, and the choices you have.
Who we are
This website is operated by HANDISOFT SOFTWARE DEVELOPMENT SERVICES, a business registered with the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) in the Philippines, trading as HandiSoft Solution (“we”, “us”).
Quezon City, Metro Manila, Philippines
Email: [email protected]
We are responsible for the personal data described in this policy. If you have a question about it, or want to use any of the rights below, email us at the address above.
What we collect and why
When you send an enquiry through our form
We collect what you enter: your name, work email, country, the service you are interested in, and your message. If you choose to give them, we also collect your company name, budget range, and phone or WhatsApp number.
We also record the date and time of your enquiry, the page you sent it from, and the fact that you agreed to this policy.
We use this information for one purpose: to reply to your enquiry and, if you ask us to, to prepare a proposal or quote. We rely on your consent, which you give by ticking the box on the form.
To protect the form from misuse
To stop automated spam and repeated submissions, the site counts how many enquiries have come from the same connection in a short period. For this it uses your IP address only in a one-way scrambled form that cannot be turned back into the address. The count is deleted one hour after your last enquiry. Your IP address is not stored with your enquiry.
If the form finds a mistake in what you entered, your text is held for up to 15 minutes so the form can show it to you again, and is then deleted.
Server logs
Like every website, ours is served by a hosting provider and a delivery network that keep standard technical logs of each request: IP address, date and time, the page requested, and the browser used. These logs are used to keep the service secure and running, and are kept by those providers under their own retention rules.
When you message us on WhatsApp or by email
If you contact us by WhatsApp or email instead of the form, we receive whatever you send us, along with your number or address. WhatsApp is operated by Meta, and its own privacy policy applies to messages sent through it.
Analytics, only if you accept
When you first visit, we ask whether you accept analytics cookies. If you accept, we use Google Analytics 4 to count visits and see which pages are used, so we can improve the site. This involves cookies set by Google. We record four things: page views, a successful enquiry, a tap on the WhatsApp button, and a click through to a client website. We do not send your name, email, phone number, or message to Google Analytics, and Google Analytics 4 does not store IP addresses.
If you decline, or do not answer, analytics does not load at all. The site works in the same way either way.
You can change your choice at any time using the “Cookie settings” link at the bottom of every page.
Your cookie choice
We keep a record of your choice in your browser’s local storage so that we do not ask again on every page. It stays there until you change it or clear your browser data, and it is never sent to us. Apart from this, the website sets no cookies unless you accept analytics.
What we do not do
- We do not sell your personal data.
- We do not use it for advertising or share it with advertisers.
- We do not add you to a mailing list because you sent an enquiry.
- We do not make automated decisions about you.
Who else handles your data
We use a small number of service providers to run this website. They process data on our behalf and only as needed to provide their service:
| Provider | What it does |
|---|---|
| Bluehost | Hosts the website and our email |
| Cloudflare | Delivers the website quickly and protects it from attacks |
| Google Analytics | Visit statistics, only if you accept |
We may also disclose personal data where the law requires it.
Where your data is stored
Our service providers operate servers in several countries, so your data may be stored or processed outside the country you live in, including outside Singapore and the Philippines. Where that happens, we rely on those providers’ contractual and technical safeguards to keep it protected to a standard comparable to the law that applies to you.
How long we keep it
| Data | Kept for |
|---|---|
| Enquiries sent through the form | 24 months from the date of the enquiry, then deleted automatically |
| The count used to limit repeated submissions | 1 hour |
| Text from a form that had a mistake | 15 minutes |
| Emails and WhatsApp messages | For as long as needed to deal with your enquiry or, if you become a client, for the length of our working relationship and as long afterwards as the law requires for business records |
| Analytics data | 14 months |
If you become a client, the information needed to do the work and keep proper accounts is covered by our agreement with you.
How we protect it
The website uses encryption (HTTPS) for everything sent between your browser and the site. Enquiries are stored in the website’s own protected administration area, which is accessible only to us and requires two-factor sign-in. We keep the site’s software up to date and take regular backups.
No website can promise perfect security. If we become aware of a data breach that is likely to cause you significant harm, we will tell you and the relevant authority as the law requires.
Your rights
You can ask us to:
- tell you what personal data we hold about you and give you a copy;
- correct anything that is wrong or out of date;
- delete your data;
- stop using your data, by withdrawing the consent you gave.
Email [email protected] with your request. We will reply within 1 business day to confirm we have received it, and will act on it within 30 days. We may need to check your identity first. There is no charge for a reasonable request.
Withdrawing consent does not affect anything we did with your data before you withdrew it.
These rights reflect the Personal Data Protection Act 2012 of Singapore and the Data Privacy Act of 2012 of the Philippines. If you are not satisfied with how we handle your request, you can complain to the Personal Data Protection Commission in Singapore or the National Privacy Commission in the Philippines.
Children
This website is for businesses. It is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect their personal data.
Links to other websites
Our portfolio links to websites we have built for clients. Those websites are run by their owners, and their own privacy policies apply once you leave our site.
Changes to this policy
If we change how we handle personal data, we will update this page and change the date at the top. For a significant change we will also say so on the website.
